Turkana, Kenya

Here are some sites that tell about Turkana, where Steve is traveling right now. The first link is to a blog by Don Golden of WR. He has some great pictures. They are a pastoral tribe and WR is trying to figure out how to best help them with agriculture or other projects. Climate change and the drought is changing their lifestyle.

The men wear a piece of cloth over one shoulder. They carry a staff, a small stool to suit on and wear a circular knife on their wrists. The women shave their heads on the sides and wear many necklaces.

I’m doing well in Maputo and thanking God every day for air conditioning. I wish I could share some heat with the folks in Europe and Asia!
